Screening of Race 2

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on January 25, 2013

Race 2 which has released today, was screened yesterday evening at PVR in Mumbai. The cast of the movie & other celebrities came in dressed casually for the screening. But Deepika along with Jacqueline did manage to catch IFP’s eye for their outfits.

Race21

Deepika looked fabulous in this ‘Victoria Beckham’ outfit but the shoes were another story all together. Black open toe pumps would definitely have looked better.  Absolutely heart her outfit.

Race22

Bipasha Basu who had starred in the first part of Race and also stars in the second installment of this movie,  attended the screening looking cute in her white lace dress with a navy blue jacket & nude open toe pumps to complete her look.

Race27

Jacqueline Fernandez & John Abraham posed together for the paparazzi. John who was dressed in casual outfit did not impress that much, given that he has got a strong role in the movie. John sometimes dressing up helps alot……:-) Where as Jacqueline looked good in gold sequin shorts with a black jacket that had detailing on the shoulders.

Race25

Saif Ali Khan also came in casually dressed in nautical stripe T-shirt which were complimented with snake leather. Not a fan of the shoes, but hey that’s just me.

Race26

Priyanka Chopra who came straight in from ‘India’s Prime Icon’ award event , was dressed in a Shehlaa Khan saree. She did look nice, but pastels on her are becoming a routine. Beg to see vibrant color on this talented actress.

Race24

Yami Gautam has given good red carpet look during the awards event but this look just doesn’t impress. The shoes, the bright denims along with the silky top don’t look well co-ordinated. But heard she was not even half bad dressed as Amisha Patel as seen below.

Race28

Amisha Patel seems to have come straight from the beach to attend the movie screening. The shorts with shredded end T-shirt was way too comfortable for a movie. Wish she would have just added an evening wear top to match those shorts along with gladiator flats or strappy heels.  This is look deserves to be ‘FINED”.

Race29

Aditi Rao Hydari in a black shimmer number combined with ‘Chanel’ bag and strappy sandals. She did look nice in this outfit and kept the look understated with minimal accessories. Like it.

Filmfare Nominations Bash 2013

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on January 15, 2013

Filmfare Awards Nominations for the year 2013  were announced in Mumbai. ‘Barfi’ leads in the nominations and IFP hopes it wins the award for ‘Best Picture’. IFP takes you through the red carpet of this nominations bash to see how well the celebrities were dressed.

Photo Courtesy :MSN India &  Bollywoodlife.com

FF-Priyanka

Priyanka Chopra wore a white ‘Dior’ with a glittery clutch to add the zing to this look.  Love the hairstyle with bangs and love the way Priyanka looks classy. 🙂

FF-Alia

Alia Bhatt in a peach gown which had floral bodice that she could have flaunted with her hair pulled back. Plus the bronze oversized clutch does not compliment her look at all. I do prefer her Screen Awards outfit over this one. 😦

FF-Anushka

Anushka Sharma wore a ‘Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna’ ……..waist up she does look nice but the pants & the shoes are another story all together. It would have been preferable if the top would have extended as a knee-length dress. Sexy stilettos would have helped too to glam this look for a red carpet event.

FF-Sridevi

Sridevi went the rouge in this chiffon top in balloon sleeve teamed with high waist trousers. The top, hair & make-up get our thumbs up but the length of the trousers & the fur clutch bag were the spoilers. A smaller clutch & a knee-length skirt might have worked here. 😦

FF-Imran

Imran Khan in a grey suit looked amazing…… IFP loves the way Imran is always dressed fabulously at events. Liking this look at the way for sure 🙂

FF-Sonali

Sonali Bendre in a Manish Malhotra anarkali which came as a surprise since she usually opts for well-known designer duo. She did look pretty in this outfit and IFP thinks she looked elegant. 🙂

FF-Deepika

Deepika Padukone opted for wide leg trousers with a sequins jacket ……..unusual choice for red carpet but IFP has no complains. Deepika can carry off this look with sheer ease……..the hair, make-up, clutch & the outfit blend well. Plus she looked different & comfortable in this look.

FF-Ranveer

It sure has been a long time since IFP last saw Ranveer Singh on the red carpet. Dressed in a basic black suit & a beard to go with it! After seeing his casual looks in the past, this one surely looks good on him. Hope Ranveer continues his suited booted looks in near future too. 🙂

FF-Aditi

Aditi Rao Hydari wore a fuchsia ‘Gaurav Gupta’ gown but the pose seem too stern for such a beautiful outfit. Love the outfit and the hair but a cuff or bigger earrings would have look glamorous. Sigh!

FF-Ileana

Ileana D’cruz was spotted wearing a BCBG Max Azria one shoulder gown, the shades of blue were indeed soothing. The loose curls are what that are a mismatch with her serene outfit. Hope she would have tied her hair up in a pony or an updo. As for the outfit, I do like the gown due to its colours.

FF-Sophie

Sophie Choudry in ‘CUE by Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna’ outfit looked smoking hot. The outfit had glittery accessories & shoes to complete the look. Sophie can surely carry the sheer neckline well without looking tacky. 🙂

FF-Raveena

Raveena Tandon in a Manish Malhotra Anarkali………….She did look pretty waist up but I felt Raveena could do way better than this look. Seeing her in Anarkalis has become a routine. How about adding sarees & gowns to the collection?

Screen Awards 2013

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on January 14, 2013

Screen Awards 2013 held in aamchi Mumbai, had many celebrities line up on the red carpet. Here is an update at who wore what & how did they fare??

Screen-Amitabh

Starting with the legend himself, Amitabh Bachchan walked the red carpet in an off- white bandhgala with black trousers that matched his pocket square. He looked at ease in this attire and we love him for this very fact that he is always an original.

Screen-Deepika

Deepika Padukone who is always amazingly dressed up for any occasion, left me high & dry in this look of hers. The D&G lace gown in teal fell flat on Deepika…………..plus not a fan of the big hair. I wish Deepika would have pulled her hair in an updo & worn strappy sandals to make this outfit work. Sigh! 😦

Screen-Parineeti

Parineeti Chopra is super cute, but her style here is not. I do love the ‘Sabyasachi ‘skirtthough but the blouse & the big bow belt spoil the entire look. The look is neither formal nor casual…………in fact not fit for the red carpet at a grand awards event. I so wish PArineeti would have opted for a choli or a corset instead of a button-up shirt. 😦 😦

Screen-Sonakshi

Sonakshi Sinha wore a ‘Falguni& Shane Peacock’ outfit for the awards event. Wish had the full length image of hers but from the looks of it, Sonakshi does look good.

Screen-Chitra

Chitrangada Singh in a ‘Roberto Cavalli’ gown & red lips look ‘super’ hot. Seeing her in so many amazing looks these days……… have to see more of her fabulous styles on the red carpet in future. As for this one………….Love it. 🙂

screen19

Sonali Bendre with hubby Goldie Behl in a Shahab Durazi outfit. The hairstyle made the entire look go ‘oh-so-wrong’ for Sonali. This dress called for voluminous hair plus throw in some beautiful diamonds for that polished look. Not liking this look one bit 😦

Screen-Alia

The cast of ‘Student of the Year’ were dressed to the nines…………not just Alia Bhatt but the gentlemen Varun Dhawan & Sidharth Malhotra do look their very best. Alia is wearing a ‘Gaurav Gupta’ outfit in bronze. Like it…..absolutely. 🙂

Screen-Arjun

Arjun Rampal did what he does best…………..pose looking absolutely ‘perfect’ on the red carpet. Dressed in black suit, this man is like a dream for every fashionista  since it is hard to find any flaws in his style. 🙂 🙂

Screen-Genelia

Genelia & Riteish Deshmukh were also dressed up for the occasion……..Genelia wore a ‘Roberto Cavalli’ gown nd IFP thinks she did look fabulous. Love the hair too. As for Riteish……..the satin blue trimmings on a tuxedo……………Really???

Screen-Kat

Katrina Kaif in a ‘Naeem Khan’ gown did catch my eye this time…………thank god she took some risk in this shimmer black outfit. Love her demure look and wish she continues these fabulous looks in future too. 🙂

Screen-Malaika

Malaika Arora Khan in a black lacey number which had a sexy back [how evident is it??]. But I beg Malaika to give us more looks in gowns and Indian attire. IFP has seen enough of these short dresses………….need a change. 😦

Screen-Mughda

Mughda Godse looked good in black lehenga but I wish she would have added a neck piece to glam this look up. Maybe it’s just me……..but it was nice to see Mughda get her groove back on the red carpet though.

Screen-Neha

Neha Dhupia never gives me a chance to complain………….she is seen here dressed in ‘Nupur Kanoi’ outfit with hair pulled back in a bun while only her eyes are highlighted in her make-up. The jewels are kept to the minimum with only cuff in place………..like it. 🙂

Screen-Yami

Yami Gautam looked refreshingly different in this emerald green outfit by designer Carmen Marc Valco. She finished this look with emerald earrings to match the outfit. Love it & wish to see her more on the red carpet. 🙂

INDIA-ARTS-ENTERTAINMENT

Vidya Balan has been lately opting for more Kanjeevarem sarees on the red carpet. We do love the traditional weaves of our country but I wish she would also try Patola, Paithani, Benarasi and Mysore silk sarees too. And definitely go lighter on the jewellery part by limiting it to a single piece which compliment her look. But none the less, IFP does give her credit for bringing the traditional weaves back in vogue.

GQ Men of the Year Awards 2012

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on October 2, 2012

GQ ‘Men of the Year’ Awards which is an annual affair, was held in Mumbai and the celebs graced this event in their best attire. ‘Indian Fashion Police’ gets you a low down on who wore what and how did they fare??

Now somebody has been taking style tips from his fashionista daughters………Glad to see Anil Kapoor in a Tuxedo which he style with a muffler. The clean shave look definitely got browny points from my side………….love this sophisticated ‘Dolce & Gabbana’ look on this handsome man. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Amitabh Bachchan who despite being unwell, walked the red carpet of this event in a Jodhpuri jacket. All I can say is that he has made the Jodhpuri jacket look so fashionable, do I need to complaint about it?? 🙂 🙂

Kajol who lately has been catching our attention for her amazing wardrobe choices, opted for a ‘Prabal Gurung’ satin dress. Though many bloggers were not in awe of this look, IFP felt that it was just the shoes which marred the look. I personally like the outfit and Kajol’s hair & make-up in this look. Ajay Devgan did look dapper in his suit and as a couple, I do like the pair very much. The only hitch is that Kajol’s outfit could have been styled better…… 😦

Vidya Balan was again seen in a Sabyasachi saree in dual tone which we have seen something similar on Sridevi few weeks earlier. Vidya did look good but I wish she would have accesorised a bit. IFP thinks Sridevi made this look work much better which you can check here.

Deepika Padukone in a red hot ‘Gaurav Gupta’ lace gown which I can describe as ‘Vintage meets contemporary’. The gown with it’s sheer lace detailing to show off Deepika’s hot bod is soften by her vintage style hairdo. Thankfully Deepika kept other things to bare minimum……………..IFP loves this look of hers. 🙂 🙂 🙂

It was a delight to see Konkona on the red carpet after ages especially when she looked so good in this saree combined with a print blouse. Handloom silks are not an easy one to carry off but Konkona does the job so effortlessly. IFP likes this look. 🙂 🙂

Siddharth Mallya surprised us by dressing in a white Tuxedo which on anyone else would have not looked so sleek. But that still leaves me with a question is why do men opt for white?? 😉

John Abraham walked in hand-n-hand with Priya Runchal who looked fabulous in a red ‘Victoria Beckham’ gown will accesorising the rest in black. The soft curl hairdo and a smile are a sure winner on the red carpet……..as for John who thankfully was dressed in formals did look good. But it was Priya al the way who won IFP’s style votes………….. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Nargis Fakhri wowed the crowd in a Roberto Cavalli which she glamed up with a chunky necklace. The outfit fits her like a glove but it definitely has to be the accessories which get her a 10 on 10 score. IFP loves this look of Nargis. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Jacqueline Fernandes opted for a Amit GT fish tail gown in black and boy did she make this outfit work. The hair is what I am crazy about……..sleek, pushed back hairdo which blended perfectly well with her look. No complains here 🙂 🙂

I wonder if Neil Nitin Mukesh just walked off from his film shoot and forgot to change his costume. Unfortunately that was not the case………..GQ did have it’s very own shiny disco ball the moment Neil walked in. Sad to see bad outfits sometimes happen to the most handsome faces. 😦 😦 😦

Sarah Jane Dias was a vision in blue ‘AM:PM gown [Ankur Modi & Priyanka Modi]. The drape of the gown was beautiful and the hairdo of Sarah was alluring. IFP likes to see Sarah don the divalicious look at this red carpet. Perfect I say…… 🙂 🙂 🙂

Dia Mirza wore an Anita Dongre saree in black & white but somehow this look did not stand out a bit. Wish Dia would have opted for a bright coloured saree instead of going for a safe route in black & white. Missing the glamour quotient here . 😦 😦 😦

Shazahn Padamsee wore a ‘Shivan-Naresh’ gown which IFP has no complains about. But absolutely disappointed with the big clutch which took away the emphasis from the dress. The outfit is perfect as Shazahn is young and can experiment with her looks for the red carpet but this entire look lacks good styling. ‘Yay’ 🙂 for the outfit but ‘Nay’ 😦 for the styling & clutch.

Rahul Bose makes me smile every time he walks the red carpet. Maybe it has something to do with the ease he carries off any sort of fabric with style. He wore a velvet dinner jacket, which is not an easy thing to carry off but on Rahul the entire look works well. He kept the vest and trousers simple with a white bow-tie. Like it…….absolutely. 🙂 🙂

Kalki Koechlin wore a ‘Gaurav Gupta’ gown in golden but somehow this look of Kalki fell flat. The detailing on the bodice & it’s fit bothered me a whole lot. On someone who is a risk taker, it might have worked but Kalki kept her look absolutely simple. IFP thinks this look needed to be more daring in terms of styling. As for Anurag Kashyap……..thank you for ditching the denims. 😉

Esha Gupta in a Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna gown in give me the vibes of vintage inspired look. But in comes the shoes as spoilers. Esha did look pretty in this ensemble but the strappy sandals make me wonder if Esha had a good look in the full length mirror before stepping out. IFP  thinks open toe pumps in neutral shade would have worked since gowns require ample of heel. 😦 😦

Vogue Beauty Awards 2012

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on August 3, 2012

Vogue India held the Vogue Beauty Awards yesterday in Mumbai where the Bollywood as well as Page 3 celebs walked the red carpet. IFP gets you a closer look at what these celebrities wore at this event………that’s really what we love to do 😉 ……….there were few hits and many misses on this red carpet, so let’s find out who looked good?

Ms. PAdukone has been in the news these days for the right reasons………I am talking about her new stylish avatar since the movie ‘Cocktail’ which has won her great reviews and loads of appreciation for her wardrobe choices in the movie. At Vogue Beauty Awards too Deepika came dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana outfit which had shimmer half below a black bodice. On someone else the outfit would have not worked, but Deepika managed to carry it off effortlessly with those wavy hair, cuffs and a black clutch to match. IFP likes her look for the evening and gives a thumbs up to Deepika. 🙂 🙂

Sisters Kajol and Tanisha also walked the  red carpet in designer ensembles. Love to see Kajol all dressed up and looking beautiful to the hilt. The gown was by designer ‘Ayesha Depala’ which made Kajol look like a ‘Diva’……plus the hair, the clutch, the earrings and the nude peep toes all complimented her look well. As for sister Tanisha who opted for a ‘James Ferreira’ gown, I felt the fit of the bodice was not as desired and the voluminous wavy hair just took away all the attention. Out of the two, Kajol definitely gets IFP’s vote for looking so elegant. 🙂

Zarine Khan went the ‘jumpsuit’ way to look different at this event and boy she did work the style well on the red carpet. Seen here wearing a ‘Zara’ outfit, Zarine kept the look simple with a black clutch, belt and shoe for this event. IFP likes her look and the fact that she stood out on her own in a graceful manner. 🙂

Sonali Bendre in ‘Christian Dior’ spelt ‘Fabulous’ in every frame. The understated look of the gown worked well for this event………..IFP loves her hairdo while her look was completed with a black clutch and open toe pumps. Sonali added a cocktail ring and studs for some bling but thankfully she left the outfit to do all the talking. 🙂 🙂

Nargis Fakhri went the ‘Roberto Cavalli’ way for the beauty awards…….the tier dress unfortunately did not make an impression on the red carpet. The make-up and the hair did look good though…..wish Nargis would have opted for something demure than this. 😦

Diana Penty looked gorgeous in a ‘Gucci’ one shoulder gown that had metal detailing on the shoulder and sexy shoes to match it. Diana radiated a ‘girl next door meets a sexy siren’ look on the red carpet…..pinned up hair gave a ‘sweet & simple’ look whereas the outfit, the shoe, and the other accessories were demure. IFP liked Diana’s look at this event. 🙂

Dia Mirza was spotted in a new hairdo which did make her look pretty but her look on the red carpet spelt disastor whether it was her dress or her shoes. None of these did any justice to Ms. Mirza who is usually dressed well at such events. IFP does understand that Dia wanted to have fun with her new look…..unfortunately the choice of footwear spoilt this entire look. With hair like that I wish Dia would have opted for a maxi dress or a jumpsuit…………..IFP gives a thumbs down to this look 😦 😦

Ileana D’Cruz who will make her Bollywood debut with ‘Barfi’ wore a printed ‘Roberto Cavalli’ gown which had lace details. Not a fan of this look….wish Ileana would have been more adventurous to opt for gown in one solid color rather than going floral. Sigh…..sometimes bad clothes happen to good looking people. 😦

Farhan Akhtar had his wife Adhuna as his arm candy for the evening……..Farhan dressed like a perfect gentleman in a basic black suit  to compliment Adhuna’s lokk in grey. Adhuna was her quirky self in this asymmetrical but I so want to change her shoes and give her matching pumps. But as a couple posing on the red carpet, IFP does like them for sure. 🙂

Simone Singh put on a blazer above a shimmer dress and was very successful at spoiling the look without much effort. Why could she not go without the blazer and just wear a dress underneath with an elaborate neck piece……….IFP loves the lady and feels she has loads of potential to look gorgeous on the red carpet, wonder why she opted for a blazer that had too long sleeves and did nothing for her look. 😦

Mandira Bedi was demure in this sexy little black dress which had a cleavage cut-out. She combined this outfit with a hot pink clutch and silver shimmer sandals. IFP likes the dress but not the styling of this look. The clutch looked out of place while the ankle tie-up sandals did not blend in. 😦

Poorna Jagannathan was seen in a ‘Bibhu Mohapatra’  gown looking every bit ‘statuesque’. This dreamy outfit combined with a metallic color clutch and stylish curly updo worked well on the red carpet. IFP likes this look on Poorna which is very different from her usual fun self. 🙂

Shenaz Treasurywala was seen in a ‘Pria Kataria Puri’ design which we had incidently seen her wear last year in New York as well. This halter dress required the hair to be pulled back and styled away from the face. While the trail of the dress was supposed to be let loose…………….now you know what messed things up on the red carpet. Shenaz please leave few things to the designer or the stylist instead of applying your own ideas. 😦 😦

Model Angela Jonsson was seen in a ‘Gaurav Gupta’ design which had sheer neckline. Not a fan of the outfit but Angela did make the look work with her styling. The hair, the accessories and the shoes did make her look good on the red carpet. On anyone else, the dress would have never made an impression. 🙂

Gul Panag was all shimmer in this one shoulder little black dress…..add in nude Mary Janes and an oversized clutch and you have a perfect recipe for red carpet disaster. Wish the puffed sleeve would magically disappear along with the clutch & the shoes……IFP would have styled it with strappy killer heels and an understated small clutch. Sigh….:-( 😦

Monica Dogra kept the look simple in this ‘Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna’ design but it left me asking one question……..Why is there no accessory in this look??? A silver clutch, a metallic cuff, chandelier earrings or an eye-catching neck-piece could have made the look more appealing.  Just the gown and loose curls make the look feel like so ‘Blah’. IFP did not like the look just for the fact that the styling was not red carpet worthy. 😦 😦

Dipannita Sharma channelled the looks of 1940s in this shimmer jumpsuit and hairstyle. This is adventurous for the red carpet but the hairstyle still did not do any good to Dipannita’s looks. How I wish a simple pulled back ponytail would replace this hideous hairdo. IFP does not like the look one bit. 😦 😦

Shaheen Abbas was all smiles in silver one shoulder dress that had matching peep toes and an knuckle duster Alexander McQueen clutch. The look is sophisticated and thankfully not over the top. IFp likes Shaheen’s look on the red carpet. 🙂

Celebrity Hairstyles

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on July 5, 2012

Celebrities dress in their most stylish designer outfits on the red carpet, but many A-List celebs forget to style their hair that can make a huge difference to their looks. These days many women opt for poker straight hair which does look neat, but that is a trend which more than half the world is following. IFP lists downs four Indian celebrities who always have something new up their sleeve in terms of hairstyles. How they inspire us fashion wise and why they stand out on the red carpet? IFP explains you why………..

Bipasha Basu

Mirror, Mirror on the wall…………..who has the best hairstyle of all? Well if I were the mirror, ‘Bipasha’ would be the name that would echo from my mouth. Call me crazy about Bips but this lady has definitely set some standards on the desi red carpet. From straight layered hair to loose curls, she has a new look every single time she steps out of her house. Off late Bipasha has been seen sporting a side swept braid or ponytail along with her casual outfits. All of Bipasha’s hairstyle looks have been created by hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani…………be it the red hair extensions, short bob, side swept fringe……..we think Sapna continues to do an amazing work on this pretty lady.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika is not just a pretty face, but she gives a lot of emphasis to her hair. The brand ambassador of ‘Parachute’ haircare, Deepika is always spotted wearing different hairstyles, on & off the screen. Earlier she was seen in wavy hair that spelt beach look but the lady has been showing off more sophisticated hairdos at recent events. IFP loved to see Deepika in chignon on the Cannes red carpet that spelt ‘C-L-A-S-S’. She has been styled by many leading hairstylist in India, but the team of b:blunt have been her ‘go-to’ stylists. Deepika experiments with her hair a lot and usually wears them down. Her signature look would be the tousled wavy hair which goes well along with her casual look.

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka started out with the boring long hair but boy she is a delight to see on the red carpet. She made layers super trendy in the movie ‘Dostana’ and continues to pleasantly surprise us with her fierce hairstyles. She has thankfully ditched the bollywood style big hair and opted for sleeker looks. She even went short with an angled bob which made her look even more demure. These days one can see Priyanka sporting a bouffant ponytail for a casual do but she goes all glam with voluminous hair with loose curls for any big event. She has been styled by Javed Habib, Savio John Pereira and Sapna Bhavnani. IFP finds her gravitating more towards 1960s & 70s look for her recent appearances.

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam is not just about dressing up but also loves to experiment with her hairstyles. As a brand ambassador of L’oreal, she has the best team to create her new looks wherever she goes. She wowed us with her pinned up ringlet hairdo at Cannes 2011 dressed in a ‘Jean Paul Gaultier’ gown. Curls, twists, updos, finger waves, hair loops, vintage hair or even Victorian era hair………Sonam has tried all styles on her hair. IFP likes the look where her hair is styled away from her face in a sleek bun or a ponytail.

Celebrities who work the ‘Gown’ trend

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on November 14, 2011

Bipasha Basu

Bipasha Basu should be known as ‘The Body’ of Bollywood as this lady has transformed herself  from flab to fab and continues to do better. She looked amazing on the red carpet whenever she has donned a gown…………she has the grace and of course the looks to carry off  this silhouette with utmost ease. Hence she makes it to our list of the Bollywood celebs who work the gown trend so fabulously.

Freida Pinto

Freida Pinto who has been making waves in Hollywood for her style and looks, definitely does justice to the ‘Gown’ trend. Her choices of designers as well as the color & the ‘fit’ of the gown. IFP does give 2 thumbs up for this lady who has the poise to carry off a gown and is able to woo everyone on the International red carpet.

Dia Mirza

She might not have many Bollywood ‘hits’ under her belt, but she is definitely a ‘Hit’ when it comes to her look on the red carpet. She makes the simplest silhouette look amazing on the red carpet. The hair is perfect, the  jewelry awesome, the dress is gorgeous………..sheer perfection. That is why she makes it to this list.

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam made us proud with her choice of ‘Jean Paul Gaultier’ gown at the Cannes and continnues this trend at home too. Dress her up in any designer creation and she carries it off flawlessly. Plus her selection of accessories, shoes and clutch are ‘to die for’. A true fashionista, she can transform from ‘Vintage’ to ‘Contemporary’ in no time. She always adds that elemnt of ‘fun’ in every look of hers and has been the most refreshing change on the red carpet.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

She was the first ‘Indian’ celebrity to walk the Cannes red carpet wearing a gown and evven after 10 years she works this trend fabulously. Aishwarya made other ladies take this silhouette more seriously since her Miss World days and has experimented with so many styles. From Armani Prive to Roberto Cavalli………..he has dressed in the best designer ensemble and turned heads everywhere she went. I don’t think this list would be complete without her.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone who was a model before she entered Bollywood, looks alluring in any gown. Her tall, slender stature is best suited for this silhouette. She has tried many gown styles like one shoulder, off-shoulders, halter neckline and we have digged every single look of hers. She has also walked down the runway in numerous gown creations by the leading designers of India.

Hello! Hall of Fame Awards 2011

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on November 10, 2011

Hello! magazine had organized ‘Hall of Fame’ Awards at the Trident hotel in Mumbai and all the fame monsters made their presence felt wearing the most stylish designer. A glimpse of the red carpet of this event.

Deepika Padukone looked red hot in this feiry red ensemble by designer ‘Gauri-Nainika’………the structured hair do, the make-up and the dress of course, all looked fabulous. L-O-V-E this look…………..this is what celebs should look like when they walk down the red carpet at any award event.

Kajol walked the red carpet in a ‘Manish Malhotra’ saree but had me on the earrings which were somehow not looking well co-ordinated with the outfit. Wish she would have opted for chandelier jadau earrings and cut out the net sleeves. The saree though was a pretty one. The clutch is of ‘Malaga’ by Malini Agarwala who has also featured in our ‘Interview with Designer’

SRK who I think would be dressed in a Karan Johar-Varun Bahl creation worked the 3-piece suit well. I dig his choice of sleek suits which are always well fit and stylish. Black remains his color of choice but how about trying Monochromatic prints for a change?

Sonam Kapoor walked the red carpet in a Gucci gown which somehow felt flat on this lovely lady. Have seen Sonam do better but here the  ‘out-of-place’ hair spoils the entire look plus the oversized clutch is no good either. Wish Sonam would have opted for a pulled back hairdo and a glittery tiny clutch for complete her look.

Karisma knows how to stunn fashionistas when she walked in wearing this LBD. She remains my eternal favorite celeb who knows what actually looks good on her. The pulled back hair works well plus the make-up is subtle. Karisma is looking every bit ‘Divalicious’. See her full length pic below and be a judge about the looks of the 2 pretty ladies

Women love men who are always sharply dressed………………………..no wonder why we cannot get enough of Rahul Khanna. Only he could carry off this shiny grey jacket and make it look so good. Me liking this look…………and you?

Jacqueline Fernandez wore a ‘Givenchy’ feather dress with a lace belt but funnily even her hairdo is styled like the feathers. She looks stylish and does absolute justice to this outfit. Like it……..

Madhoo in a ‘Herve Leger’ outfit but the bright color clutch is quite a distraction. The print ‘Herve Leger’ is enough to grab attention……………..the ‘pop of color’ was not needed. Other things aside,  Madhoo does look good in this outfit.

Queenie Singh in a ‘Jatin Varma’ dress certainly looks good. Thank god she did not opt for one of those short dresses……..this print dress from Jatin Varma’s  recent collection compliments her body yet makes her look like a ‘Diva’………..Way to go Queenie.

Gayatri Oberoi wore a black off shoulder gown with emerald jewelry but the improper fit of the silhouette marred the entire look for this beautiful lady. Plus the accessories and the clutch are not of much help too. But I do like the fact that Gayatri dresses up very gracefully on the red carpet.

F1 Rocks After Party

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on October 31, 2011

The buzz of Grand Prix Formula one is on a high in India with the opening of Lap Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida. It is for sure a glorious moment for racing sports in India and to celebrate this event UTV stars had organised the After-party at the racing venue. Lady Gaga was there to entertain the guests which had the creme-de-la-creme of the Page 3 world. We had to get the glimpse of red carpet to you………..

Deepika Padukone was all sparkle on the red carpet at this event and looked ‘H-O-T’………the sequin dress with a nude open toe heels and a tiny clutch. The hair, the dress, the shoes…………………love the look for such a fashionable event.

Perky Sonam Kapoor came in with designer Manish Arora wearing one of his designed creations. I am for sure not digging this look since the sequin dress is paired with golden leaf earrings…………..it is somewhat appears like a mis-match. The look was vintage inspired, but a more demure look would have suited the theme of the event. The pretty dress ought to have been paired with a crystal neck piece or eye-catching accessory. Though Sonam This is too plain on the lovely Sonam…………..sigh.

King Khan who must be definitely on a high post the success of Ra.One, looked pretty tired when he came to this event. Wonder the travel promoting his film did take a toll on him………….he is in a 3 piece black suit……….same old in black………..SRK please give us some color.

Preity Zinta also went the sequin mode with satin gloves…………now tell me who wears a satin gloves these days?? Even Brides have chucked this accessory………PZ wanted to make a style statement but sadly this look falls flat. Wish she would have donned a gothic look to rock the red carpet.

Lady Gaga performed at the after-party wearing a ‘Tarun Tahiliani’ outfit and a veil………………this outfit which has been seen in a saree version on the red carpet, was modified in a shorter version. But the net stocking with the ankle-length boots………let’s face it with Lady Gaga, nothing should be surprise people anymore.

Bipasha Basu came in a Falguni-Shane Peacock outfit which had a trail behind……………Like the short version from the front, but the trail seems unnecesary. The hair would have looked better in a pulled back look………I do appreciate Bips for the fact that she experiments with her outfit choices and has the guts to flaunt it on the red carpet.

Actor Imran Khan made an appearance with wife Avantika where surprisingly Avantika took the limelight in the style section as Imran donned a sloppy look. The sweater with a tie and denims with a stubble are ‘no-no’ on the red carpet. Imran we love your look in a crisp suit, this one is way too lame. As for wifey, love the sophisticated look combined with a stylish animal print clutch.

GQ ‘Men of the Year’ Awards

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on October 1, 2011

GQ magazine gave away ‘Men of the Year’ awards in Mumbai………………..and we  had to write about who wore what and how did they fair on the red carpet. So here we go……..

Shahrukh Khan has been voted the best dressed man in India but I sometimes wish he would experiment with a bit of color rather than always playing safe in black. Though he does look good in his statement black tuxedo complete with push back hair.

Mrs. Khan of the other hand is definitely a graceful dresser……..Gauri was seen at this event wearing an ‘Emilio Pucci’ lace dress, Judith Leiber clutch and Jimmy Choo shoes. I like the fact that she did not go all matchy-matchy with her accessories instead opted for a silver clutch & nude open toe heels. Simple, elegant and absolutely appropriate for the event.

Farhan Akhtar seems to have forgotten the essential of these Tux……………the bow-tie of course. A handsome face like him definitely would have looked better styled if he had taken a little more pain in completing the evening look……………rather than just walking in without the tie.

Anushka Sharma was seeing wearing this green ‘Dior’ gown with loose curls on one side…………I am not much into this color but I cannot deny the fact that Anushka looked absolutely amazing. On anyone else the outfit would not looked so good, but Anushka sure makes it work.

Freida Pinto posed for the shutterbugs in this ‘Versace’ gown………….unfortunately the sequin-feathered tail gown could not make Ms. Pinto stand out in the crowd. In a single colour, the gown had too much detail work which did no justice to Freida’s petite frame. I wish she would have chosen one of her knee-length dresses which she is able to work so flawlessly.

It was a surprise to see Prateik in a suit looking dapper plus with a pretty arm candy!!…………now that’s ice-cream with cherry on the top. The lady in question is British model Amy Jackson who will be seen in India films soon. As for Prateik, please dress this way for red carpet events, casuals are best left for time-out with buddies.

Deepika Padukone looked glamorous in this gown [my guess is Ramona Narang] but the shoes were just so wrong on this outfit. I wish she would have opted for strappy heels instead of pumps. The hair, the make-up and the lady all do look fabulous, but one wrong thing can make the entire outfit look bad.

We might have to wait to see Siddharth Mallya carve a niche in the business world, but this man definitely rocks on the red carpet. I do like his sense of style and the effort he puts in to look good at every event. Even here he looked neat in these tuxedos……….some established bollywood stars should make a note on ‘how to dress’ for glam events.

Imran Khan never makes a mistake when he has to dress up a formal event. I suppose his style at GQ event speak a lot about his sense of style. Love to see him in well tailored suits and tux…………perfect 10 on 10 every time. As for his wife Avantika, she did look pretty in her red wrap dress and bronze peep-toes.  Except for the hair, I do dig her outfit………….nice.

‘Vision in White’ is how Simi Garewal likes to keep her style………..no doubt she looks incredible and absolutely defied aging but I do wish she would add more color to her styling in form of accessories. All white can be boring at times………..:-)

More pics coming your way.

Red Carpet Review – Zee Cine Awards 2011

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on January 16, 2011

Zee Cine awards was one of the biggest Bollywood award ceremony which was held outside of India. The venue for the event was the plush new Marina Bay in Singapore. There were the whose who of Bollywood. So let’s glance at who won our hearts in the fashion department and who needed a desperate make-over from a stylist before stepping on the red carpet. Here is my review of the red carpet of the Zee Cine Awards 2011.

Deepika Padukone

Let me start the review with the young ‘new’ lot of the industry in short with Deepika who was dressed in a one shoulder silver gown that had a fashionable knot on the waist. Though I like the gown a lot and since the many past appearances of Deepika’s, I feel this is a step towards good style sense. But somehow hate the shoes and the clutch. Witha gown like that, a pop of colour was very much desired here. I wish Deepika would have opted for strappy sexy heels in silver and grey with black Judith Leiber clutch. I am sure that would have given this outfit a whole new dimension. Nonetheless, love the bold gown since suits Deepika’s frame amazingly. My verdict : One thumbs up for the gown.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan should ideally be the ‘Queen of International Red Carpet’ sinceI seldom see her messing up with her looks on the International platform. This one too is no exception, since Mrs. Bachchan is currently going thru with the ‘Manish Malhotra’ phase and this outfit by far looks very elegant. The velvet trimmings are very subtle on the rich golden brown colour fo the outfit.Plus the detail work  on the net silhouette is to die for. Plus minimal jewellery is the way to go. My Verdict : Absolutely Love it…………

Hrithik Roshan with wife Suzzane

The celebrity couple was dressed to kill in black but unfortunately too much of black killed the ‘look’ that could have been. Seriously I have seen Hrithik in that suit with the slim tie a numerous times and I need to see something new on him. Maybe same suit no tie or a different tie would have worked better. As for Suzzane, the black gown without any ‘bling’ is too boring. Some jewellery courtesy sister Farah would have helped a lot. My verdict : Way too simple and boring, need some glitter.

Sonakshi Sinha

Oh oh…….Where is the beautiful girl whom I had seen in ‘Dabangg’ gone and who has draped that lovely girl in that ‘curtain’ print ensemble………………..tsk, tsk,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,pity I’d say. I do agree this was the very first international platform that Sonakshi was making her appearance but this outfit was not what a ‘fresh’ face like hers was expected to wear. I wish she would have gone for something more glamorous in a saree like a sequin detail work on chiffon plus traditional jewellery. This outfit does not at all emphasize her pretty face and true assets her eyes. As an actress I do like her a lot and know that she has potential to make it big. My Verdict : Need more fresh and younger look for this pretty lady.

Rishi And Neetu Kapoor

Our favourite yester year star couple still make my heart go ‘Awww’ whenever I see them dressed to perfection on the red carpet. Neetu Kapoor as elegant as ever dressed in a beige anarkali with those ‘ooh la la’ Ruby & diamond earrings looks like a ‘Diva’. Mrs. Kapoor can I please borrow those lovely earrings for a day……………….:-) Mr. Kapoor Sr. took some effort this time to be dressed in a grey suit just wish he had not worn the tag card beneath his tie.My verdict : Lovely pair who ooze loads of ‘Kapoor’ Royalty……………….two thumbs up for them.

Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jessia

Arjun And Mehr Jessia also walked in wearing black but thankfully they were not boring. After a long time, I get to see both dressed appropriately with Arjun wearing a Shahab Durazi creation while Mehr went for a Monisha Jaising creation. Glamorous, smart and perfect for the occasion. Mehr did full justice to that dress given the amazing bod and looks she has. My Verdict : Two thumbs up for the lovely couple who look good together.

Prachi Desai

Prachi Desai choosed this maroon Gauri & Nainika outfit but happened to mess  it up with lack of accessories on this plain ensemble that screamed for some glamour. With those pretty looks, Prachi could have won every fashionista’s heart with a pair of chandelier earrings in diamonds plus a cuff, a fashionable clutch and glitzy shoes. Though these shoes equally do the job well………………the hair could have been tied up in a high set pony with the collar bones getting all the attention. If you have it flaunt it honey…………….why hide it and make it look like plain disastor. My Verdict:More experiment required here. Have fun while you are still young.

Neha Dhupia

Neha Dhupia was looking all glamed up like a doll for the event and must say that the lady is more surprising on the red carpet than on the screen. I am not fond on the frills on a gown unless it is a knee length dress but here they seem to give a slimmed down effect for Neha. Hair pulled back, jewels blinging bright and the dress fit to perfection works for me. My Verdict : Pretty, pretty and pretty.

HDIL Couture Week 2010 Bash

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on October 6, 2010

Another couture week is here but in my opinion I feel we should limit ourselves to a maximum of 2 couture week per year that showcase all designers………………why do we need so many couture week where one gets to see the same designs, the same designers and of course the same celebrities again………………have we become addicted to couture weeks???? Do we love fashion so much that the sense is going out the window???? I often ask myself these questions but for the sake of fashion, I am ready to let go of this Q & A session in my mind………..

The HDIL couture Week 2010 started with a bash held at Grand Hyatt.

Shahrukh & Gauri Khan along with Rani Mukherjee

Shahrukh Khan with lady love Gauri an friend Rani Mukherjee posed for the cameras………..Shahrukh dressed in a brown shirt and black trousers looked quite ready to party the night, Gauri in a beautiful red Valentino and Rani in a short aquamarine dress designed by a Greek designer…………….all three looked good on the red carpet especially Rani since the outfit fits the bill for her petite frame. As for Mrs. Khan, I would have opted for a shimmer black or grey clutch plus shoes……………..Shahrukh was at an ease when it came to dressing up, but hey it is just a bash………….

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone who is our Style Star for the month, wore a satin beige one shoulder top with black fitted skirt and satin heels with rosette on them……………..on the whole I am not digging the look because of the shoes and the lack of glamour in her look. It gives vibe that one is trying to minimize the sexiness quotient in this outfit by adopting a ‘girl next door’ make-up & hair. I would have prefered if the top would have extended hemlines till knees and acted as a short cocktail dress…………Plus those shoes just don’t gel that well……………..though love the one shoulder top along with the crystal clutch……………..but a beautiful soul like Deepika needs to look glamorous by adding the accessories.

Raj Kundar & Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa Shetty also made an appearance with hubby Raj Kundra in tow but I have to say………….why does Raj always have that messy look on his face??? With such a fabulous looking ‘biwi’ as arm candy, he should dress to the core complete with good personal grooming. I feel that he should either go in for a beard or no beard…………….the style ‘in between’ does not suit him at all. Whereas I have no complaints about Shilpa………………she looks perfect in her Little black dress with gold trimmings and loooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeee those shoes. Must say that combining black and golden in western wear is not easy and Shilpa knows how to do justice to it……………Mr. Kundra would expect you to clean up next time.

Karisma Kapoor

I can’t get enough of this ‘Diva’………………….there have been no instances till date that this fabulous ‘momma of two’ has ever dressed up shabbily. Not a hair is out of place whenever she is on the red carpet……………….in this outfit, I simply adore her look in a little black dress with hoopla earrings adding a dash of glitz to the look while keeping the clutch and shoes simple. The key to achieve her look is to let one piece get all the attention while other pieces act as a background. Simple yet ‘oh so classic’……………….I don’t mind declaring that she is one of the most well dressed women of our country.

Queenie Dhody

“The animal, the animal instinct in me…………….” that’s just a long lost song which I happen to remember looking at Queenie. Her favourite animal prints are doing a lot of appearances on the red carpet, unfortunately none of them work. The dress combined with golden jewellery, belt and the animal print shoes are overwhelming and absolutely not age appropriate…………….I would rather see a 20 year old young lady wear this outfit than Queenie……………as I said in my earlier posts, animal print in 40s works better if used in small amounts. This dress would have worked better if it was in a plain dark colour with alluring pair of heels.

Malaika Arora Khan & Arbaaz Khan

Malaika & Arbaaz came in as a pair wearing nautical stripes……………but the matchy-matchy is just getting to me. Arbaaz’s torn denims are definitely a red carpet no-no please paired with those formal mocassins……………..sheer disaster. Neither do Malaika’s leather pantlook and the heels paired with Louis Vuitton clutch don’t do much for her look. My say is this look is OK if you are going for dinner out with family or buddies………………but for a couture week bash………….please dress up a bit eventful.

Manish Malhotra, Urmila Matondkar and Sophie Choudhary

Did Urmila make a dress out of a silk scarf????? Looking at her dress I feel that she just did that……………..and those shoes………..kill me someone but they have spoilt the entire look. People firstly leave the animal print alone, secondly I would have liked it a bit if the shoes were strappy heels or open toe pumps. Why do ourbollywood women have that affinity with flowers on their feet. Manish Malhotra seems like he has had a very tiring day and just came to the party to get a break. While Sophie looks ready to pary in her short printed dress with Bottega Veneta clutch and black basic heels. Out of the three, Sophie definitely wins my vote for keeping in simple yet party right.

Gayatri Oberoi, Sonali Bendre and Goldie Bhel

Gayatri Oberoi poses here with Sonali Bendre and her hubby Goldie Bhel……………..Gayatri looks ultra glam in the Herve Leger bandage blue dress pairing it with Judith Leiber clutch and golden heels. While Sonali kept it simplein a little black dress and bronze heels while Goldie who also kept it simple,  is enjoying his moment with the lovely ladies. My favourite out of the three has to be Gayatri for looking ‘Oh la la’ in that dress of hers.

Raveena Tandon

Raveena Tandon was sighted after a loooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnggggggg time wearing black on black. Where is the glitter??? The all black attire is now getting to me……………Raveena could have worn a beautiful pendant or earrings or even jazzy belt with funky shoes. But a beautiful woman like Raveena, this look is not doing any wonders for her.

Bhavna and Chunky Pandey

Bhavna and Chunky walked in where Bhavna was wearing a pretty navy blue strapless dress with a stylish belt, while Chunky is more in a very casual avatar in denims and a white shirt. But somehow I am digging his yellow mocassins which adds the much desired pop of colour to the outfit. It is unusual choice but works well on Chucky’s look. On the whole, the couple looking good together.

Arjun & Mehr Rampal

Mr & Mrs. Rampal camein hand in hand where Mehr wore a Malini Ramani kaftan one shoulder outfit and Arjun was in his casual avatar. Thankfully Mehr added that much needed colour to her style but would have preferred this outfit in a shorter version. With that hot bod, why hide it under loose clothes when you can show them off with elegance. Arjun seems to have just got out of bed and onto the red carpet……………….Wake up Arjun…………….its time to party.

India International Jewellery Week 2010 – Day 1

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on August 16, 2010

The Indian International Jewellery show started off in Mumbai on the 15th August, 2010……………….of course our celebrities had to be there to make the occasion much more happening with their presence.

Deepika Padukone walked the ramp wearing an outfit designed by Ana Singh and jewellery by Farah Khan Ali…………..in one word Deepika simply looked ‘Splendid’………Deepika’s multi strand necklace had rubies and pearls with a similar neck piece made with diamonds, rubies and kundan………..love the ‘Indian’ look on her which she carries off gracefully.

*********

Katrina Kaif also walked down the ramp for the brand ‘Nakshatra’ which she represents as a brand ambassador adorning diamond jewellery and wearing Neetu Lulla creation…………….though I must admit I am not a fan of her lehenga but nonetheless Katrina looks flawless neck up.

******

Mother – Daughter duo Lilette & Ira Dubey walked the ramp for Mirari & Sons adorning their creation. Both were dressed in black……….must say that Lilette Dubey can give other actresses a run for their money with her killer looks. Both of them looked ‘Awesome’.

Queenie Dhody also displayed her creations for Giantti in which Dino Morea wearing a manellery [jewellery for men] and pendant in white gold & diamonds. That is a first time that an actor walks down the ramp for jewellery………….I love new things in fashion……………love Queenie’s diamond cuffs.

Will keep you updated with more pics.

Things that are OK to be worn again!!!

Posted by Indian Fashion Police on July 28, 2010

People have a big misconception that once you have worn an outfit, shoe, jewellery……………..that is the end of it and they would not want to repeat the same even if that piece is a classic. Just for your fashion info I have some basic necessity in a woman’s wardrobe that are absolutely OK to be repeated and should not be considered a fashion crime…………I might be no one to re-write the fashion rules but a ‘vintage’  or a ‘classic’ deserves to be worn again and again.

Jewellery

This is one of my most favourite things in this entire world — Jewellery……………but why are people not open to the idea of wearing it again. I wear mine since the past so many years…………….gold, silver, platinum, precious, semi-precious or even not so real ones……………wear it as many times as you desire it. Women wear their wedding bands and engagement rings all the time……………..then why not your beautiful pair of earrings.

Deepika Padukone has worn her pair of Kundan earrings at many different occasions on the red carpet………Like the first one for Chandni Chowk to China Premiere, Cannes 2010 and the Miss India Contest where she was one of the judges. Earrings are a Stunning piece of Indian Jewellery and I see no reason why such a fabulous piece not be worn again……………Kudos to Deepika for carrying it like no other………………Love those classic earrings.

Handbags

Handbags are something I advice all you ladies to buy a good piece every year and stick to it all year round. I you can afford more than more the merrier but avoid buying fakes at all cost. If you cannot afford the high-end range it is better to go in for a brand that fits your pocket. Carrying a fake is definitely a fashion crime but carrying a brand within your budget is a ‘must have’. There are infinite number of colours and designs available in today’s market………..go ahead, take your pick.

I might not be a ‘Birkin’ fan but Shilpa Shetty definitely makes her Birkin bag in chocolate-brown work pretty hard…………she takes it wherever she travels………..with a classic bag like this one I can carry it for more than a decade.

Shoes

Love, adore and take good care of your shoes……………….literally. They are the most hard-working of all fashionable buys………..so own a good pair. Have at least 4 pairs of shoes  – everyday wear, basic flip-flops, party wear and casual wear. Flats or heels………..wear whatever you are comfortable in………………it is not necessary a woman should only be seen in a 4 inch above heels at all times………even Sarah Jessica Parker wears flats when she is not on a movie set. So clear off that misconception in your heads, ladies.

Check out Kareena Kapoor wear the lovely pair of platforms at different venues along with different outfit…………..a good pair of shoes no matter how old are always ‘In Vogue’. Same goes for men……….seen below is Abhishek Bachchan wearing a pair of Blue colour crocodile leather shoes…………PETA might not be very happy but the shoes are unique and different from the usual black pair of shoes. Pair it with denim or formal it works well. [Maximise by clicking on the pics]

Sunglasses

Once you have found a perfect pair of sunglasses…………….STICK TO THEM…………..honestly I don’t understand the obsession with people and their sunglasses……….does one really need that many pairs of sunglasses. I feel one pair is good enough for a year or max 2 years but a pair like Raybans ‘Aviator’ or ‘Wafers’ last a lifetime. But a good pair that is not just stylish but also gives you UV protection from the harsh afternoon tropical sunrays. Go for a shape which is unlike the shape of your face………..kinda a square frame for an oval-shaped face and find a pair which can be worn with formal as well as casual.

Seen here is our very own King Khan sporting a pair of Aviator for his daily outings at the IPL……….he is stylish that is beyond doubt but he also is smart enough to make the pair work with a pair of denim with T-shirt as well as a blazer.

Watches

This glorious tiny little things which makes the world go around is an absolute must have in every person’s wardrobe. Can be an Indian brand like Titan which makes one of the best watches in our country and I have 2 pairs of it which I have been wearing for the past 10 years……….it is still working amazingly………………else you could get yourself an international brand like Tagheurer, Omega, Rolex, Guess, Rado the list is endless………..whatever fits your pocket. You might be able to afford the best brands but the watch should suit your personality and most important should suit your wrist. A young guy’s sports watch does not suit an old man claded in a three piece suit and vice versa………………so see to it suits and enhances your personality. The choices are infinite  in Indian market today……………so go ahead buy a stunning piece of time for yourself.

Shahid Kapoor seems to love his watch since he has been seen sporting it on many different occassion………..the watch is smart, nothing flashy and suits him well.
